Audio Books- Ear- Resistable

When it comes to a world-class educational system that caters to the needs of the Indian Media and Entertainment Industry, Access Atlantech Edutainment (I) Ltd. (AAT) tops the list. Along with British Council, AAT put up an exciting and very informative presentation on the techniques used in making of an Audio book. The library has added a whole new range of audio books to their vast collection and wanted to announce it with a bang!

Audio books are popular on long commutes and on trains or airplanes - anywhere people can listen to a personal music player. A detailed presentation on introduction to Audio recording technology by our in-house expert, threw some light on the various techniques used in the making of an Audio book. Topics like music production, studio engineering, background score, etc were also discussed here.

The best part of the presentation was the personalised voice recordings of 3 people from the audience that was done right there. They were asked to read out a paragraph from a book and background scores with sound effect were added to make it interesting to the listener. We rounded up with an exciting quiz based on the presentation and gave away some goodies.

AAT opens admissions for UGC approved Bachelors Degree programmes

• UGC approved bachelors degree certification In 36 months
• Courses affiliated to the Dibrugarh University (estd 1965), Dibrugarh, Assam
• Courses to commence in August 2010

 SAE, the world’s largest media Education College through its exclusive Indian partner Access Atlantech Edutainment (I) Ltd, announced the admissions for their Bachelors Degree programmes for the academic year 2010-2011.

The Bachelor of Arts (B.A) programme (Media Studies) is spread over 36 months and 6 semesters and is affiliated to the Dibrugarh University (1965), which is under the UGC affiliation. The following Bachelor of Arts (Media Studies) are being offered across the campuses of aat (Bangalore Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai)

BA in Animation and Digital Film Making

Students under this stream will be entitled to receive two diploma certificates from SAE-Byron Bay , Australia viz. Diploma in Digital Film Making and Diploma in Animation and a Bachelors Degree awarded by the Dibrugarh University . This programme is available in all the 4 campuses of aat.

In addition to the above, B.A (Media Studies) with two more specializations –

• BA in Animation for Games and Games Designing
• BA in Games Design, Programming and Development

are also being offered as per affiliation status given by the Dibrugarh University . The Bachelors programme includes a twin fold certification wherein the Dibrugarh University (1965) awards a degree certificate relevant to Indian education needs and aat, thru its partner SAE awards a twin diploma, which carries international credit points and recognition for further studies abroad.

Announcing the admissions, Mr. Rathish Babu, CEO, Access Atlantech Edutainment (I) Ltd., said, “The entertainment & media industry has seen a steady growth unaffected by market conditions as also the entry of large corporates and foreign players has opened up the sector for formally trained manpower. The degree programs offered by us will enable a student to have requisite technical hands on skills as also managerial skills in content production.”

The courses are scheduled to commence in August 2010 and application and prospectus would be available in all aat centers across India till July 31st 2010. Admissions will close by August 15th, 2010.

Final Jump , a short film by Bithopan Kashyap, Deg. Batch 5 has won an award recently at SSN College Short Film Fest, 2010.

Final Jump Synopsis:

Final Jump is short film about scarcity of water and the misuse of it. FINAL JUMP highlights the possible dangers and the tragic end of life caused by continuous wastage of water. This is an imagination of a future world where Water is the most valuable thing, more than Petrol and Diesel. This film portrays a situation in future where man will do any crime to get small quantities of pure water. In the film, there is a character of a small boy who notices how people waste the water always tries his best to save water.

This is an imagination of a future world where the boy searches for water. After running from one place to another he reaches the place where water is sold at a very high price. He gives a ten rupee note to the owner who runs the water business. The owner gives him a drop of water for that ten rupees. After getting the small amount of water the boy notices a water bottle there and he steals it and runs from there. The people around him who are there shout up as though the boy has committed a big crime. But nobody could catch him.The boy reaches a safe place and he sees a big pond which is full of water. He does not drink water from the bottle but jumps into the pond. But he does not notice the signboard infront of the pond. The board reads " POISONED WATER IF USED MAY CAUSE DEATH".

By this film we want to make people realise the possible danger which will arise for human beings due to unnecessary wastage of water and causing water scarcity.
